KPMG’s Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) Department of Professional Practice is looking for an ambitious manager/senior manager to join our team based in Prague, Czech Republic. We provide support to KPMG professionals on a wide range of IFRS accounting issues making us an excellent place to further develop your skills. You will provide solutions to accounting issues to client facing teams, develop and share internal IFRS guidance and deliver training sessions. You will also have a high degree of contact with client partners and managers. IFRS is an area that brings a rich variety of challenges and we maintain close contacts with our CEE DPP Audit and CEE Capital Market colleagues. CEE DPP provides support to KPMG in Central and Eastern Europe which has over 5,000 employees, located in nineteen countries.
Working in a high profile team providing advisory support and technical analysis to engagement teams providing services to our clients throughout the CEE region
Providing advice on reporting in accordance with IFRS
Delivering high quality analysis to both audit and advisory teams
Developing and disseminating IFRS guidance
Thought leadership with respect to the adoption of key new standards
Developing contacts within KPMG locally and internationally
The role will involve working closely with senior KPMG professionals throughout the region in a fast-paced environment
Required qualifications and skills:
The role would suit a professionally qualified accountant who has at least five years of experience
Ideal position for candidates wanting to work in a dynamic environment as part of a closely knit team that values working with individuals throughout the CEE region
As a member of CEE DPP you will be working in an environment where strong teamwork, analytical ability, communication and project management skills are key
Whilst some knowledge of IFRS is required, you do not need to be an IFRS expert but do need to have an interest in technical matters
The working language is English
